Who Can Join?Regular membership is open to any person who is a member of the bar of the State of New Hampshire or of the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. A regular member does not need to be on “active” status with the bar, but cannot have resigned or been disbarred. Associate membership is open to any member of the bar admitted to practice, who has not resigned or been disbarred, in any state or territory of the United States other than New Hampshire. In addition, any law student or paralegal may become an associate member of the NHWBA. Sustaining membership is open to any NHWBA member. Sustaining membership recognizes members who have generously supported the growth and success of the NHWBA. Their annual membership fees and donations contribute greatly to the organization.
