  We will also be running a voluntary book exchange at our March Book Club meeting - please consider bringing a gently used or new book you would like to pass on and share with one of your colleagues in the NHWBA.

  Join the New Hampshire Women’s Bar Association (NHWBA) and UNH Law’s Women’s Law Student Association (WLSA) for a fun, upbeat, and heart-pumping Zumba class with Stephani Roundy Knights, the Law Clerk Supervisor at the New Hampshire Superior Court, and a licensed Zumba instructor.

  Zumba is a total body workout, combining elements of cardio fitness, dance, balance, and flexibility.

  Weather permitting, we will be hosting this class outside in front of the law school! If there is inclement weather, the class will be held inside the law school in the IP Atrium.

  Take a break from studying/work, meet new people, and move your body with the NHWBA and WLSA!

  Registration is encouraged. Law students do not need to be NHWBA or WLSA members to attend, although NHWBA law student memberships are complimentary.

  Join your friends at the NHWBA at Feathered Friend Brewing Company in Concord, NH for an Intro To Modern Calligraphy for Beginners class with Kristen Grady of Sip & Script, a nationwide "community of creative artists teaching modern calligraphy with a fun and laid back approach through beautifully curated events." 

  Whether you’re a stationery nerd, DIY spouse-to-be, or just a crafty individual, in this workshop you’ll be learning an introduction to modern calligraphy with a pointed dip pen and ink.

  Kristen will cover all the basics and get you ready to add those special lettered details to your snail mail, wedding paper goods, home décor and more! 

  This class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, Sip & Script's beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, 2 letter guides, tracing paper and straight pen holder), and all materials to write on. Everything is yours to keep at the end of the workshop and your registration includes one complimentary drink - it is the perfect crafty night out with your friends at the NHWBA!

  While this class is open to the general public and there will be non-NHWBA members in attendance, the NHWBA has ten (10) seats reserved exclusively for our Members and their Guests who register with us. Register today to guarantee your seat!

  Join Us in Changing Lives: Criminal Record Annulment Training

  603 Legal Aid and the NH Women’s Bar Association have teamed up to empower women in our community by helping them clear their criminal records. Annulment of a criminal record can be life-changing, removing barriers that make it difficult to:

  ✅ Secure housing—whether through private landlords or public assistance
  ✅ Access federal benefit programs
  ✅ Gain admission to higher education
  ✅ Qualify for grants, loans, or work-study programs
  ✅ Find stable employment
  ✅ Obtain necessary licenses or certifications
  ✅ Enlist in the armed forces
  ✅ Restore firearm rights

  Get Involved: Virtual Training on the Annulment Process worth 1.5 hours of CLE credit.

  Emma Sisti, Deputy Director of 603 Legal Aid, will lead this essential training. Once trained, you’ll be eligible to take on annulment cases for women in need. The process is straightforward—no court appearances required—yet the impact is profound.

  A small investment of your time can help change the trajectory of a woman’s future.

  Zoom details will be emailed to all participants no less than 48 hours before the training.

  Please note: NHWBA believes our CLEs meet the requirements of NH Supreme Court Rule 53 and that this CLE may qualify for up to 90 minutes toward the annual NHMCLE requirement.
