We are partnering with United Way of Greater Nashua to recruit volunteers for their COVID-19 Relief One-Day Food Drive.

They need 56 volunteers to station themselves outdoors at food stores around the Nashua area (Nashua, Merrimack, Hudson, Amherst, and Brookline) to collect food donations from the stores' patrons.

Volunteers will meet at the United Way in Nashua at 8am and then spend 9am-2pm at their assigned store with a partner. Volunteers will be assigned to stores in pairs and may sign up to volunteer on their own or in teams of two. We will pair up NHWBA volunteers when possible. If you are already planning to volunteer alongside someone you know, please register them here as your guest.

Volunteers should bring their own folding chair and small table to put flyers on.

Volunteers should be between the ages of 15 and 65.

Did you know that as of May 2020, only 18.39% of English-language biographies on Wikipedia were about women? And that only one of New Hampshire's first 100 women lawyers has a Wikipedia article?

We've decided to work toward ameliorating this by adding and improving upon articles about historically notable women in New Hampshire's legal community.

Please join us for a Zoom call to kick off our Wikipedia Project. You'll learn more about the process of editing Wikipedia, an online encyclopedia created and maintained as an open collaboration project by a community of volunteers using a wiki-based editing system. We'll also discuss what our goals and priorities for the project.

Please register so you'll receive the Zoom meeting information.
