Golf Lessons 2026 (Tuesday, June 02, 2026)

Join us for a summer of golf! We are hosting our lessons with golf pro Jonathan Douglas at beautiful Pembroke Pines County Club in centrally located Pembroke, New Hampshire on Tuesdays throughout the summer.

We are capping each session to eight (8) attendees (with the exception of our last two sessions, see details below) to ensure attendees can learn the "skill of the week" with some one-on-one instruction from Jon.

Each session includes small group instruction and a $10 voucher to use that evening at the 1759 Grille at Pembroke Pines.

By registering, you are signing up to learn the following skills during the below dates:

Week 1 (June 2) – Putting and Chipping
Week 2 (June 9) – Irons
Week 3 (June 16) – Woods
Week 4 (June 23) – Course Play with Jon
Week 5 (June 30) – Course Play with Jon

During Weeks 4 & 5 we will increase attendance to up to twelve (12) attendees to participate in "drop-in course play" with Jon.

Attendees will come out and play the course in small groups, with Jon providing tips and instruction for reach group as they play. These last two weeks are included in the the registration fee for the lessons, and will also be available for up to four (4) additional folks on Tuesday, June 23 and Tuesday, June 30.

Folks of all skill levels are welcome and we ask that you provide some details about your skill level (and whether you need to borrow clubs) at registration.

Join us for a summer of golf! This registration link is just for the June 23, 2026 drop-in session.

Running Club - July 1st Meet-Up (Wednesday, July 01, 2026)

Join the NHWBA's Networking Committee for our 2026 Running Club. This group is designed for runners/joggers/walkers of all skill and experience levels.

New to running? That's great! Been a runner since middle school? Amazing! Do you want to walk and talk with friends in the NHWBA on a Saturday morning? Welcome!

The Wednesday, July 1st, 2026 meet-up will start at Harpoon Brewery- 215 Canal Street- Manchester, NH

The plan is for attendees to join us at the scheduled location/time and then we will break into groups based on desired distances and routes. Once the route is complete, we will return at the starting location to enjoy the company of our fellow attendees with warm beverages and conversation (ps: you could also just sign up to hang out at the brewery, if you so please).

In September, our Running Club will come together to have a team at the Campaign For Legal Services Annual Walk and Run for Justice in Manchester!

For our July Book Club, we will meet on Tuesday, July 21st at 6:00 PM at Americus Restaurant at Labelle Winery in Derry to discuss The Lion Women of Tehran by Marjan Kamalik.

Depending on the weather, we anticipate sitting outside to enjoy summer in New Hampshire!

Registration is highly encouraged so we can have an accurate count for reservation purposes. Attendees are responsible for their own food and/or beverage expenses.

Trail Clean Up at Janeway Conservation Area (Saturday, August 29, 2026)

Join us for a Trail Clean Up at the Janeway Conservation Area with the 5 Rivers Conservation Trust!

On August 29, 2026, the Public Service and Networking Committees are joining forces for a fun, outdoors volunteer project at the Janeway Conservation Area in Webster, New Hampshire with volunteers and staff from the 5 Rivers Conservation Trust.

The Janeway Conservation Area is an over 477 acre property in the towns of Webster and Hopkinton. This project will involve field work overseen by experienced volunteers doing a variety of tasks, including possible trail maintenance and invasive species removal.

We will meet at 8:30 AM on the property (meeting place and parking details will be provided to attendees, in advance) and plan to stay for about two hours of trail work. Following the volunteering, our Networking Committee encourages attendees to join us for coffee and conversation in nearby Contoocook to celebrate a job well-done.

Registration is highly encouraged so we can have an accurate count. While some supplies will be provided, we encourage attendees to bring work/gardening gloves (and possibly an extra pair for friends who don't have any!), water, snacks, and appropriate attire for being in the New Hampshire woods in late August.

Red Sox Game (Saturday, September 12, 2026)

Come join us at Fenway Park for a Red Sox Game with the NHWBA!

On Saturday, September 12 at 4:10 PM, our members, non-members, and guests will be headed to see the Red Sox play the Kansas City Royals.

You registration covers your ticket - we will be seated in the Bleachers, section 41. Attendees are responsible for making their own travel arrangements, although carpooling and public transportation are highly encouraged.

Birding Walk along Horseshoe Pond (Saturday, September 19, 2026)

Join naturalist and educator Linden Rayton of Living Water Nature Programs for a birdwatching walk along the Horseshoe Pond in Concord (Parking is off of Commercial Street. Use this link for directions.) for a morning of fall birdwatching at Horseshoe Pond in Concord. This well-known birding hotspot will have many local favorites as well as migratory birds passing through.

Wear weather-appropriate clothing, a hat with a brim, and bring binoculars or borrow one of three loaner pairs. This program is drizzle-or-shine, but will be canceled for moderate to heavy rain.

Although the timing may not work for all families, this birdwatching walk is open to guests of all ages!

For folks who are interested, please consider joining the group for coffee and breakfast in downtown Concord following the walk. More information will be provided to attendees closer to the event.

NHWBA's 29th Annual Fall Reception (Wednesday, October 07, 2026)

Join us for our 29th Annual Fall Reception at the Barn at Bull Meadow, 63 Bog Road, Concord, NH.

There will be hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar available and registration is complimentary. Business formal dress is recommended.

The event is a chance to recognize the achievements of our 2026 Marilla M. Ricker Achievement Award winner and the 2026 Winnie McLaughlin Scholarship while networking with attorneys and judges from across the state.

We are accepting nominations for the 2026 Marilla M. Ricker Award! You can find more information about the nomination criteria here.
