Live CLE- Deep Dive into Depositions: An Overview of Best Practices for Personal and 30(b)(6) Entity Depositions

Participants will gain knowledge on preparing for and conducting/defending depositions of individual and expert witnesses, as well as specialized training on depositions of organizational representatives under Rule 30(b)(6), including how to craft effective notices, select and prepare witnesses, and address common pitfalls and objections.

Attorneys will leave this course with sharpened tools to elicit key testimony, and strengthen their case from the earliest stages of discovery.

• Strategic approaches to deposing individual fact and expert witnesses
• Best practices for Rule 30(b)(6) depositions: notice drafting, witness prep, and dealing with evasive responses
• Techniques for managing difficult counsel and protecting your record
• Ethical considerations and professional responsibility in depositions

This course will contain at least 100 minutes of General CLE and 60 minutes of Ethics CLE credit.
