Please join the New Hampshire Women’s Bar Association for a virtual CLE entitled "Working with At-Risk Moms with Substance Use Disorder: Legal Updates and Care Pathways". We will be discussing the following topics:
  • Information/legal primer on Plans of Safe Care
  • Treatment options for pregnant individuals with substance use concerns
  • A presentation of data around maternal and child deaths related to substance use and/or exposure
  • A review of new state laws and policies involving the NH Division for Children, Youth and Families (DCYF), e.g. rebuttable presumption law and voluntary services
  • Brief overview of the Office of the Child Advocate’s expanded jurisdiction and issues that the OCA is seeing with regard to exposed infants and their families

We believe this course may qualify for 105 minutes towards the annual NHMCLE requirement. If this date and time do not work for your schedule, this CLE will be recorded and available on our store.
