CLE - Domestic Violence in the Pandemic: A Guide for Practitioners

  • Thursday, November 05, 2020
  • 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM
  • Online

NHWBA is excited to partner with Sheehan Phinney on November 5th from 12-5 pm to provide members with a virtual CLE program on domestic violence and its impact on family law matters. Through thoughtful presentations by Tina Schumacher of Voices Against Violence, Erin Jasina of NH Legal Assistance, Lyndsay Robinson of Bernazzani Law, and the Honorable Susan Carbon of the New Hampshire Judicial Branch, attendees will learn about crisis centers, the psychological aspects and impacts of domestic violence, NH Legal Assistance, the DOVE Project, and impacts domestic violence has on the court system.

Attendees will leave with valuable practice tips and practical considerations in working with victims of domestic violence (regardless of whether the client identifies as such) through all aspects of the attorney-client relationship, settlement, and litigation, including prosecuting and defending domestic violence issues.

You will receive an email before the event with the information to access the Zoom meeting.
