Family Law CLE

Time is running out to sign up for our Family Law CLE!

Please join us in Nashua on Thursday, January 31st from noon - 4pm (plus "happy hour" networking). We believe this course may qualify for 180 minutes toward the annual NHMCLE requirement. You'll learn about the latest developments in family law, including New Hampshire's new alimony law.

Linda Johnson Named to Management Committee

Attorney and NHWBA Member Linda S. Johnson was added to McLane Middleton, P.A.’s Management Committee – the firm’s executive committee of the board of directors; overseeing strategy and business operations.

Linda is a director in the litigation department and has been with the firm for over 26 years. She previously served as the long-term chair of the firm’s Employment Law Group and as co-chair of the Litigation Department. In addition to assisting companies with their employment law needs, she currently co-chairs the firm’s Education Law Group and focuses her practice on understanding and serving the needs of independent and boarding schools.


Legislative Reception

We will be hosting a legislative reception along with the New Hampshire Bar Associationthe New Hampshire Association for Justice, and the New Hampshire Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Congratulations, Sherry!

Attorney Sherilyn Burnett Young, NHWBA member and past Ricker Award recipient, will be one of six recipients of an Outstanding Women in Business Award. She is a founder, shareholder, and president at Rath, Young and Pignatelli.

These prestigious awards will be presented by the New Hampshire Business Review at their 2019 Awards Ceremony and Cocktail Reception on February 13 in Bedford.


February Book Club

Next month's book club will be held on Tuesday, February 26th at 5:30pm in Concord.

We'll be discussing A Perilous Path – Talking Race, Inequality, and the Law by Sherrilyn Ifill.

Annual Retreat - Save the Date!

We've set the date for our Annual Retreat, a can't-miss networking event at the Inn at Mill Falls in Meredith.  

Please kindly save Friday, March 29th and Saturday, March 30th for the overnight event.
