Join us for this inaugural Table for Eight dinner!
What is "Tables for Eight"? Tables for Eight is a mentoring program that brings a veteran woman attorney together with 6-7 newer lawyers for dinner and mentoring in a single evening to share experiences and to discuss work, life and any topics of interest in a relaxed setting.
Rather than being matched to a single mentor, attorneys can choose which mentors they would like to meet and hear from by registering for the scheduled dinner with that featured mentor. There are no strings attached -- if you come away gaining insight from the experience, that's wonderful and if you don't, well at least you had an enjoyable meal.
Participation is limited to 7 members who have been in practice for seven years or less and will be decided on a first come, first served basis. Dinner is dutch treat.
Our featured mentor for this inaugural event is Sherry Young!
Sherry Young is a founder and President of the law firm, Rath, Young and Pignatelli, P.C. She heads the firm's Environmental Practice Group, and assists clients on federal and state environmental matters, real estate transactions, and business and finance transactions.
Sherry served as legislative counsel to then-Governor Judd Gregg in his 1988-89 administration. Sherry serves on the Board of the New Hampshire Business and Industry Association, the Board of Trustees of Franklin Pierce Law Center, and the New Hampshire Supreme Court Society. She was the first woman to chair the State Capital Group, a network of independent law firms in all 50 U.S. State capitals and in business markets and financial centers worldwide.
Sherry is consistently recognized as a "Top Lawyer" by many notable business groups, is a past recipient of the NHWBA's Marilla M. Ricker Achievement Award and has even served as a coach on her children's basketball and softball teams.
In short, Sherry has pretty much done it all and is willing to share her stories with you. Dinner starts at 6 p.m. so don't be late!
