Communication Styles Workshop
Nixon Peabody
Manchester, NH
Sep 16, 2010
How well you communicate can influence how others view your work, your performance and your prospects for career mobility. Because we all communicate differently, it is important to understand the variations in style and learn new ways to communicate with others that will ensure productive and effective working relationships. In this course, you will be able to identify your own personal communication style using the Boost methodology while learning how to maximize your strengths and remedy areas that need improvement. The Benefits: * Improve power of persuasion and influence; awareness of body language and non-verbal signals. * Identify personal communication barriers and develop strategies to avoid misunderstandings and overcome difficult situations. * Develop critical listening skills and learn about your own listening behavior and responding style. The Results: * Positive interactions and productive relationships with peers and colleagues * Confidently express ideas and solutions while disarming those with different viewpoints. When you gain an understanding of how your personal communication style is perceived by others, you can learn to tailor your behavior to create positive and productive relationships in the workplace. Now is the time to take the driver's seat in your own career! Workshop begins at 5:00p.m. Refreshments provided. -
